Sorry, no Gokaiger Ep45 Pics today

 Today no one posted high-definition pictures of Episode 45 and the connection to KeyHole was pretty bad, so I couldn't make caps either. Essentially today was a clip show, the Rangers finally figure out there was something in the temple that the Timerangers sent them too and uncover Ninjaman. He explains he was sealed 10 years ago and had no idea about the Legend War. So in the GokaiGalleon, they explain about the Zangyack, the Legend War and their battles. They have a neat montage of all their team Gokai Changes, start with Kakuranger, then Goseiger and going all the way down to Goranger (Since they already did Kakuranger, they go from Ohranger to Dairanger). They show off different changes like all blue (Ahim-MagiBlue, Don-TimeBlue, Gai-Aoranger, Marvelous-GoseiBlue, Joe-ShinkenBlue and Luka-Blue Dolphin) and all lions (sans Hurricane Yellow of course).

After the commercial break, they highlight all the Legends they met like Kai and the power they unlocked (MagiDragon), Ban and Doggie and the Patstriker; GaoRed and GaoLion; Karou and the Shinken power; Mikoto, Dragon Ranger, Time Fire and Goujyujn; the Hurricangers and Fura Maru; and the other Legends; and finally Machalcon. Then they talk about Basco and that he has 5 legend powers and they need Kakuranger's. Ninjaman declines. He gives a long explainaiton, taking Ahim and Gai away happily. The others aren't too happy. We see NinjaWhite briefly, she addresses the audience.

Finally a close view of the Extra Hero keys. Surprising that Mele, Rio, DekaMaster and Zuuban's forearms are white. The back of Rio and Mele's keys are the Rinjyuden symbol but in the book, the logo image is the Gekiranger one. No Gokai Christmas key, probably because this was printed before the fact.

Hero Profile: Gavan

This month the movie Gokaiger vs. Gavan premieres in Japan, but who is Gavan?

Earth is invaded by the Makuu Empire, led by Don Horror, who had first destroyed a space colony near Earth. Don Horror wants to dominate the whole universe and sends spaceships to create panic on Earth. While the Makuu is trying to impose its domination, Space Sheriff Gavan from the Galactic Union Patrol, arrives in his spaceship, the Dolgiran. He is the son of Tamiko Ichijouji and Voicer. When needed, he is teleported via a silver chrome combat suit using the Jouchaku process which consists of fusing Granium particles to Gavan's body. He is an accomplished athlete and has various weapons at his disposal. On Earth, he uses the name Retsu Ichijoji.

He comes from the Bird Planet, the planet where Space Sheriffs are trained and where they are stationed while on call. Gavan is asked to defend the Earth, which is his mother's planet of origin. Gavan is helped by Mimi, the daughter of Commander Qom, and is given information by Qom, assisted by Marin on his home planet. Gavan goes to Earth to defend it against Don Horror and his devilish schemes. He settles on Earth incognito, using his actual human name, Retsu Ichijouji; he takes a job at the Avalon Youth Club in Japan. In the Uchuu Keiji Crossover, Gavan announces to Sharivan and Shaider that he has proposed to Mimi.

 He has been played by Kenji Oba, he has played this role in six different shows or movies. First in Uchû keiji Gyaban (Space Sherrif Gavan) and then later in Sharivan and Shaider. In the special Space Cop Shaider: Pursuit! Shigi Shigi Abduction Plan in 1985. Then in one episode of Chojinki Metalder in 1987 and World Ninja War Jiraiya in 1988. And finally Gokaiger vs. Gavan in 2012 where he plays the dual roles of Ichijouji Retsu and Shirou Akebono from Battle Fever J and Denjiman respectively.

From Univision, basically they say that this is the second time they participate (not true) and the lady says she liked them since she was little and that she always liked Mike. The lady host said she was a fan long time ago--the male announcer commented that when PR came out she wouldn't had been the age of a kid. She said she 'liked' Mike back in the day. So basically I think she has a paper telling her the names. They name all six Rangers correctly (unlike Hallmark channel who said the Ranger names were Jayden, Mike, Kevin, Emily, Mia and Garcia) and have the background music. Saban partially owns Univision.

ABC skipped the float, I didn't see the NBC or Hallmark one live on Television, but someone has posted the Hallmark and NBC ones online, I don't feel right linking them.

Don't Forget Tournament of Roses Parade tomorrow!

 

 This morning I woke up at 11am freaking out I missed the parade but didn't see it on TV. So I find out the actual parade is tomorrow January 2nd, starts at 8am in California Pacific time. For us Eastern timers, it is at 11am. You can watch on ABC, NBC or HGTV. The Power Rangers Samurai will have their own float for the first time.

Specific or Significant Gokai Changes

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

 Like the All-color changes, here are some (not all) changes (I'm not counting Go-On Wings because of its frequency of usage) that were not just one team, but had a meaning.

 In Episode 12, the four Gokaiger sans Blue became different members of different teams fighting individually (Luka became MegaYellow and YellowMask, Marvelous became Ryuranger and BoukenRed, Ahim became DenjiPink and Pink Flash, Don became MidoRanger and OhGreen), but as a team, they were TimePink, Green Sai, HurricaneRed, and AbareYellow.

 In Episode 17, GokaiYellow became MegaSilver, Green became Dragon Ranger, Red became Time Fire, Pink became AbareKiller and Blue became MagiShine. The Gokaiger became Sixth Rangers before GokaiSilver was known to them.

 In Episode 23, in honor of the sibling team GoGoFive, Ahim and Luka became FivePink and FiveYellow, who were sisters.

 In Episode 23, Ahim became MagiPink and Luka became MagiYellow; they were siblings: brother and sister.

 In Episode 25, in honor of the trio of Hurricanger, Red, Yellow and Blue became Liveman.

  In Episode 25, in honor of the trio of Hurricanger, Yellow, Red, and Blue became Abaranger.

In Episode 29, Ahim was embarrassed to become AbarePink!

 

 In Episode 37, they used the Extra Hero keys for the first time. Ahim became DekaSwan, Don became Signalman, Marvelous became Wolzard Fire, Gai became Kuro Kishi (proving that he can use any key using the GokaiPhone) and Luka became Zuuban.

 In Episode 41, Ahim changed with each member into different duos. She became Go-On Silver and Gai became Go-On Gold, finally, after had becoming Go-On Wings.

 

In Episode 41, Don became KabutoRaijer and Ahim became Kuwagata Raijer.

 In Episode 41, Joe became DekaMaster and Ahim became DekaSwan.

 

In Episode 41, Marvelous became Shinken Red, and Ahim became Princess Shinken Red.

 

Also Luka became GoseiYellow and Ahim became GoseiPink.

 In Episode 44, Gokai Silver became Gokai Christmas.

 

For Episode 45, they transform into Lion-based Rangers. Ahim as GingaRed, Don as Shishiranger, Gai as GoseiKnight, Marvelous as GaoRed, Joe as Go-On Blue, and Luka as Yellow Lion.

 In Episode 49, the Gokaiger become members that gave their approval for their powers that Basco had stolen but they got back. Ahim as Green Flash, Don as Change Gryphon, Marvelous as VulEagle, Joe as Blue Mask, and Luka as FiveYellow.
