Unlike the Power Ranger opening themes, Super Sentai actually releases about 4 to 5 soundtracks that year with their opening and closing themes included. Lately, opening themes have been on the top of the music charts, namely Go-Onger, which has spun-off into different versions of the Ending theme. Note: There has been Power Ranger soundtracks but only a few. The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers song from the second season and movie did receive airplay thanks to Simon Cowell, out of all people.

I love the shinkenger opening. Sometimes i catch myself humming it.
ReplyDeleteYou're missing some great themes. I loved Goranger's theme. Isao Sasaki is a god among men. Look on Youtube for his English version of Mazinger Z and check it out.
ReplyDeleteOh, and Sentai theme songs are featured in a Japanese concert show called Super Sentai Spirits. I bet that those shows sell out easily. There's some epic music there. The guy who performs Gaoranger's theme scares me sometime. Wow.
