From Zyuranger and from Gingaman to Gaoranger thats how the yellow ranger should have look in power rangers in the first place.I dont know why in japan they would make the yellow ranger male since in almost all cultures yellow is considered a female color.
Because the yellow rangers have traditionally been male in Super Sentai starting with Ki Ranger, the original yellow ranger. The female yellows were originally exceptions and not the rule. In the 80s, only three of the nine yellows were female (Yellow 4, Yellow Flash, and Yellow Mask). In the 90s, four out of the ten yellows in that decade were female (Five Yellow, Oh Yellow, Yellow Racer, and Mega Yellow). It wasn't until the 2000s in which having having a female yellow was a common occurrence, since only three of yellows were male during that decade (Time Yellow, Gao Yellow, and Magi Yellow) and this decade we only have Gosei Yellow and Gokai Yellow thus far, both female.
Anonymous 5pm: This has been explained before, AbareKiller will be covered as a sixth ranger for GokaiSilver. And most ranger-centered episodes, the Gokaiger don't always be in 5, sometimes just 4 and the one the episode is focused on, they use other keys.
