特命戦隊ゴーバスターズ
"Tokumei Sentai Gobusters" (Special Mission Taskforce Gobusters) is the newest title Dukemon22 says. We had a supposedly official copyright before, so maybe this might not be real. But judging by the time frame and latest rumors, I think it is most likely. Dukemon22 says the late copyright posting actually lends credence to Gokaiger having a
bit more air time to itself. (54-55 eps is my guess right now until
someone says other wise). So obviously 'Gobusters' is a play on Ghost Busters, which makes me think it might not be true but stranger things have happen. Maybe Toei noticed all their teams have been 'angers' or 'gers' or 'man' so they would go with something else. It seems that not only Toei filed for the copyright but also Bandai Namco. It also seems that they will be Bounty Hunters and not ghost-based but Dukemon22 believes they might be Youkai-themed as it is the strongest rumor for years. I think they will hunt the paranormal. the monsters will be paranormal but the hero helmets and powers will be something else, like animals or rescue vehicles.

ReplyDeleteI'm surprise you haven't started talking about this yet. http://www.jefusion.com/2011/09/kamen-rider-nadeshiko-poseidon-revealed.html
ReplyDeleteGhostbusters...seriously?!
ReplyDeleteLol, if its true, all the parody videos of http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cyRqR56aCKc will be fun to see.
It's been forever since they've ended in man.
ReplyDeleteAll of the 21st century Sentai names including this one seem to be parodies of GoRanger.
ReplyDeletereally?..
ReplyDeletei mean really... they want to go hunt ghost now...
Well, something that everyone seems to be overlooking, "Go" means five in Japanese. Five is the traditional number of members in a sentai team, which is why so many of the series names begin with "Go-" such as Gorenja (5 rangers) and Gokaiger, etc.
ReplyDeleteGobusters means '5' Busters and has nothing to do with ghosts. The ghostbuster reference that everyone seems to be speculating over is nothing more than ethnocentrism.
