Power Rangers Beast Morphers - Artist Anonymous - Episode Review

Episode Summary:

Ravi paints a mural. His mom jogs nearby and he pretends it isn't his and he saw the real artist run away. Back at the base, Ravi washes his hands. Nate and Steel ask what he was painting. Ravi lies to them, tells them he was painting his house. Zoey and Devon tell them to look at the news. His mural is on the news. Devon tells him it looks great. A crowd is at the building and Ben gives Betty a boost to take a picture of the painting and get on a skateboard. Betty grabs unto a light post. Ben crashes into a hot dog stand. Betty stays on the lamp post. Zoey and Devon reveal they know it is Ravi's painting. Ravi admits it and Nate and Steel hear this. They ask him why he lied. Nate shames him. Ravi says lies are a reflex. 

Roxy and Blaze make a Robotron out of a key and lock. They want him to enter Grid Battleforce, he opens a gate up. Ravi finds the Robotron. Ravi morphs and fights after a civilian fight. The Robotron locks his weapons. Gold and Silver appear and fight. The three of them follow Robotron outside and fight. Robotron falls down some stairs and runs away. Red and Yellow arrive and Robotron teleports away. Back at the dimension, Robotron explains what happened to Evox. Evox and Scrozzle don't like Blaze and Roxy's plan. Roxy explains about Ravi lying. Scrozzle comes up with the idea of making explosive paint and disguising Keytron as the mystery painter. Keyton says he wants to do an accent. 

He becomes a stereotypical French painter (played by Kelson Henderson). Evox becomes the mayor again. Back at GB, the mayor has people bring in the explosive painting to make a mural outside of the GB base. They wanted the same artist and the Rangers are surprised to meet the artist--who is claiming he was the one. Ravi says he never saw him before and his mom finds it strange, poking holes in his lies. Ravi lies again. Ravi says the guy is taking credit. Zoey wants to tell the commander. Ravi says it means so much to her and he doesn't want to let her down. The Rangers tell her the truth. Nate keeps shaming him. Ravi agrees to tell the truth.

 The Rangers run in before they paint. Ravi says he is an imposter. He admits he lied and admits he painted the mural. She at first doesn't believe him and he shows her his initial painting. She is upset that he was lying. The Tronics try to spray paint on them, they jump out of the way and the paint explodes. The painter and the assistants reveal to be Keytron and the Tronics. Mayor lies he didn't know and runs off with the Commander. The Rangers morph. Keytron locks their comms so they can't call the weapons. The Rangers fight. 

Evox transforms back in the dimension and gets Morph-X. Commander is the GOAT and comes in with more weapons so they defeat Keytron. A new Gigadrone comes in and the Ultrazord is formed. Gigadrone makes another dome thing. The Keydrone locks Ultrazord. Gold makes them fly in the air. They drop down on the drone. The drone gets up and its key is broken. Their systems are back so they transport the Cheetah Blaster and destroy the Gigadrone. The dome fades. Back at the base, Ravi and his mom have a heart to heart. She doesn't like he lied. He said he was afraid she wouldn't approve as she said painting was a waste of time. She tells him her attitude didn't let him be himself and he can tell her anything. She wants to know what art makes him feel. He says it makes him happy. She promises to support whatever makes him happy. She has him sign his original mural. People applaud. She proudly says her son did it and tells him she is proud. Firefighters try to rescue Betty but she jumps up and down the trampoline. 

Review:

I don't like Nate lie shaming everyone. It is not like Ravi lied about killing a man. I love the Commander's final thoughts to Ravi. A lot of time what parents say or do affect their kids. It is good she said she will support anything that makes him happy. It not only a good message for the kids but to parents as well. Some parents get stuck on their doctrines and not what makes the children happy.

Episode Summary:

At Riptide, everyone is gathered for a gaming tournament. Devon is going against a girl named Kerry, whose little brother was injured playing soccer. The game Backstreet Brawlers features holographic players you can touch. The Mayor sees this and then he has a 'call' and leaves. Then Roxy and Blaze bots arrive and destroy the holograms. They steal a game controller. The crowd runs away. The Rangers morph and fight Tronics. Kerry and her brother spy on Roxy and Blaze. They make Gamertron. The Rangers arrive. Gold and Silver fight Roxy and Blaze. The main trio fight Gamertron.

She makes copies of the trio. They are on even footing. Gametron skips away. Kerry runs off. The fight continues elsewhere and Kerry watches. Both Red Rangers use speed. Gold and Silver continue fighting the general bots. The clones get weapons and blast at the real trio. The trio go down. Gold and Silver weaken the generals. They get the Beast X Blaster and blasts at them and run away. Kerry's brother arrive, she says the robot is the evil clone of her gaming console.

Devon gives a console to Nate at the lab. Devon gets a call from the tournament and runs off. At Riptide, he meets with the judge. Kerry is upset. Kerry needs a console and doesn't have money for a new one, so Devon is the champion by default. He gives her his console. He doesn't want to win because she forefitted. The tournament will continue at 6 at night. Kerry and the boy leave. Ben and Betty find a dancing game hologram with a handsome dancer that Betty dances with.

Betty is swung around by the hologram and then falls when he disappears. She says she is in love. Nate can't find a solution. The commander brings in Kerry, who has info but only wants to tell the Rangers. They morph and talk to her. She explains the clones use the game programming. She has a secret move that could work. If they use the move, the opponent will freeze up. Devon realizes she used that on him at the tournament. She says she found the bug by accident. Blue says she was cheating. She says she didn't want to cheat but her brother needs to money for surgery. Devon tells her if she cheats to win, she is no winner. 

The Rangers fight Gamertron in a clearing and she calls the clones. The two trios fight. They do the secret move and freeze them up. They destroy the clones. Gamertron is upset. They make Beast-X Cannon and destroy her. Gigadrone arrives and makes a dome with dark skies. The Rangers break in with their Ultrazord. They fight the Gigadrone, which sucks their Morph-X. They destroy it. The sky clears up. Back at Riptide, they had the rematch. Betty wants to get to know the hologram but all he wants to dance. She wants to stop dancing. He doesn't listen. Ben stands up for her and shuts the hologram down. 

Devon and Kerry play the game. Kerry doesn't cheat and Devon wins. He gives the check to Kerry and she gugs him. They agree to compete in the next competition. Devon hugs his dad and his dad coughs. His dad says he is sick and leaves. The others congratulate Devon. Mayor goes out and falls. Blaze and Roxy bots pick him up and he becomes Evox. He says pretending to be the mayor makes him sick. 

Episode Review:

The clones make the poses of Doubutsu Sentai Go-Busters, which is an alternative team of Go-Busters that are more Sentai-like. Good episode, it is better at morals than the Afterschool Specials of the 70's that Ninja Steel hammered into children. It is still Anvilicious but not as black and white as Ninja Steel did.

Power Rangers Beast Morphers - Save Our Shores - Episode Review

Episode Summary:

Blaze is teaching martial arts class. He then joins the five Rangers. Ravi tells them that Roxy has a new job at her aunt's Collins corporation. They then hear on the news that there was a garbage spill caused by a shipment. 

With the cyber dimension, Evox is in his human form and becomes his real form. Scrozzle has a plan to make new generals for him and uses a birdcage to make Trappertron. Meanwhile, at the beach, the Rangers help Roxy clean up. Roxy gets told by an employee that a turtle is in trouble. Ben and Betty show up in glue instead of sunblock and get garbage stuck all over them.

Zoey, Blaze and Roxy try to convince Roxy's aunt to help but she refuses. A cage appears around Roxy and Blaze and Trappertron appear. Zoey calls for reinforcements. Roxy and Blaze are kidnapped and then let go. Their information are used on robot blanks for new evil Roxy and Blaze. Roxy is in violet and Blaze is in amber color.


The Rangers fight Trappertron and the Tronics. The evil Roxy and Blaze arrive and the Rangers say how they defeated them before. They clarify they are brand new. While fighting them, they discover they are robots. Devon uses his new laser to completely destroy the robots and tronics. 

Gigadrone attacks and the Megazord defeats it. Evox is mad that Blaze and Roxy were destroyed. Scrozzle downloads them back into robots and says they can be downloaded again after being destroyed. Evox and them like the idea.


Back at a seaquarium, the turtle is placed in a tank as the Rangers and the real Roxy and Blaze watch. Roxy's aunt apologizes and promises to help. She thanks Zoey and Roxy. Roxy and Blaze mention that robot clones are creepy. 

Episode Review:

Good Episode. Even though the GP oil spill happened years ago, this is still important to show how companies don't care about taking responsibility. Of course, the company changes its mind in this happy go lucky world. Fans are more concerned about the company being called Collins and since we don't have Roxy's last name, fans are jumping to conclusions that Roxy is Wes and Jen's illegitimate daughter. I don't believe it, I think the name is a coincidence. Anyway, I like how the good Roxy and Blaze are involved as much as the evil ones. I also like how Roxy said she was violet, instead of purple as purple was the color name used to replace 'violet' for rangers like RJ ad Kendall.

Trivia: Miriama Te Rangimarie Smith (Roxy's aunt) played Elsa in Power Rangers Dino Thunder.

Power Rangers Beast Morphers - Believe it or Not - Episode Review

Summary:

It has been a while since Evox has been defeated and now the World is aware of the use of Morph-X, so much that Paris, France has agreed to have Morph-X towers. The mayor is popular. Blaze and Devon spar at the local hangout. They discuss the new things.

Ravi and Roxy have a romantic picnic. It seems Roxy is not part of Grid Battleforce anymore since she doesn't have a wrist communicator. Ravi is late for Ranger training and she is understanding. He goes to train with Devon and Zoey at the base. They blast at targets. Ben and Betty train too but break a jumprope machine Devon was using with his cheetah speed. 

Nathan comes in with a new blaster for the Megazord. It is way too popular when Ravi uses it. Steel enters with a blackboard with strings and photos, saying he has evidence that Evox is back. Nate and the others are quick to debunk his theory. They ask for proof. He mentions a tower leaked and no one was sent to clean it up. Devon says his dad says it was cleaned up. He gets an idea and asks them to train in the forest the next day. They agree.

They go running in the forest. The forest happens to be near the tower that leaked. He shows them a picture and asks them what they see. He sees Scrozzle, they see a tree stump. He gets mad that they don't believe him and leaves in a huff. Nate realizes he hurt his feelings and they look for him. They find Scrozzle and Tronics instead. They are loading stolen Morph-X.

 They confront Scrozzle. They morph and fight Tronics. Steel later appears and morphs and helps the Rangers. He blasts a Robotron away and the rest of the Tronics. Zoey is about to apologize when they get called by the Commander about the Gigadrones. Gigadrone land where they are and they duck. The Gigadrone makes a hole and go inside. The Robotron returns and Zoey and Steel fight it. Devon asks Wrecker Zord to lower his zord into the hole. They call the commander.

Gorilla and Cheetah Zord look at the hole. Wrecker Zord sends the cheetah one inside the hole. Two Gigatronics head to the surface. Ravi fights the Gigatronics. Deon finds Morph-X deposits. Gigadrone pops up and fights the zord. More Gigatronics arrive. Devon and the others get beat up. Morph-X level drop for Devon. Devon asks Nate to lower his hook and he uses it against the Gigatronics. He hooks the Gigadrone and it is pulled up. Zoey and Steel destroy the Robotron. They call the Jet and Chopper Zords. The Gigatronics get blasted by the zords. Chopper zord becomes a Jackrabbit and destroy the surface Gigatronics. Devon calls the Cheetah Beast Blaster. He destroys the underground Gigatronics. The Gigadrone is lifted up the Wrecker Zord and beat up by the Jet Zord. The gold Megazord is formed and destroys the Gigadrone. Back at the base, they haven't found Evox. Commander says they figure this wasn't the last attack. The gang apologizes to Steel, saying they were so happy without Evox, they didn't want to believe it. Steel wants them to go look for the Lochness Monster which Ben and Betty try to join but get stuck.

Review:
A simple story, Steel believed Evox was back, they didn't believe him and it was true. But it was nice to see peaceful times. It was an enjoyable episode and Steel is more endearing when he is actually sure about something. I like that Evox has not been revealed yet and the Mayor is only hinted to be involved in some way. What I would like answers with is what is Blaze's involvement in Grid Battleforce now if any?
