#PowerMonth: Ecliptor & Astronema Set and Finster

Since we already knew about the Ecliptor and Astronema Set because of the leak two months ago, the only real reveal this week is Finster. They are Amazon Exclusives.

Finster comes with his putty tools, case, and miniature Putties, complete for a Evil Space Alien fan. 

Ecliptor comes with his face sword and attack effects and extra hand. Astronema comes with lavender hair, her scepter and lightning effects. 

 

#PowerMonth: Blue and Black Ninja Rangers Lightning Collection

 After radio silence, we finally get the new Lightning Collection reveal. The 100th Lightning Collection figure is Billy the Blue Ninja Ranger and the 101th is Adam the Black Ninja Ranger. For those unfamiliar, the Ninja Rangers were introduced in the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers The Movie (1995), as powers based on the Ninjetti granted by Dulcea on the planet of Pheados. You could see the actor's eyes as the mask didn't cover their forehead and eyes. For Season 3 of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, the story was retold with Ninjor giving them the Ninja Ranger powers and a mask covered their forehead and eyes, to conceal the stunt/suit actors. Also the suits used for the show were a cheaper quality than the ones using in the movie. I like the Ninja Rangers and these figures are way better than what we got in 1995, they were very bulky as they never in Japan and at that point Bandai only copied or recreated the Japanese toys. 

Also, the sculpt for Billy looks way better than the one for the regular Blue Ranger figure and looks more akin to the Metallic Armor version. And Adam looks more like the Metallic Version than the Zeo version. 

Is this what they call Power Month?

 

It has been 8 days since the last Power Rangers Lightning Collection reveal and Hasbro had been boasting #PowerMonth but it feels more like it was just Power/Turtle Month with only Turtle Ranger reveals last week. Granted there has been some reveals of Super7 figures and RetroMorphin figures but the Ninjor RetroMorphin reveal was in July and we already knew about Ranger Slayer RetroMorphin figure.

#PowerMonth: Ninja Turtles/Power Rangers Lightning Collection

 

On Thursday, it was revealed Shredder/Green Ranger. On Fan First Friday, they had the design team and Ryan Parrott, writer for the Boom! Comics crossover. The design team clarified that they had to merge the various comic designs for Shredder to get the look for the figure. Artists drew him differently on the cover and comic pages. The Fan First Friday last week went over each figure and behind the scenes trivia.

#PowerMonth: More Ninja Turtles Rangers

Michangelo and April O'Neal Rangers were revealed yesterday.

And today Raphael/Tommy 2-pack was revealed. This is based on the Power Rangers/Ninja Turtles crossover in the comics from 2 years ago. Tommy is dressed as a foot solider.

#PowerMonth: Leonardo and Donatello Rangers

 

This August is #PowerMonth and reveals every day (supposedly). I will believe it when I see it on August 7, Saturday is my birthday so I am hoping for a woozy, but who knows, it's all coincidence. Today's reveal is Leonardo and Donatello of the Ninja Turtles as Rangers. This is from the comics crossover two years ago.
