Not Power Rangers, Not Super Sentai

Below are various shows I have mentioned before that might have gotten confused for Power Rangers or Super Sentai from time to time.

Squadron Sport Ranger ขบวนการ สปอร์ตเรนเจอร์ (2006)
It had sixteen episodes in Thailand in 2006 and was the first original tokusatsu from Thailand in a while, but it was first to look the most like Super Sentai. Many fans have asked me to mention this series. Starhunter is an alien tribe that steals all life energy on other planets, gathering the energy through medals. One medal was split into five and when Starhunter came to Earth, the Sport Ranger were formed to fight them. Red, Yellow, Green were male and Pink and Blue were female.

鎧甲勇士 is probably translated as Imperial Emperor Brave Knight Armor or Armor Hero Emperor, I am not completely sure about the translation.

Zaido: Pulis Pangkalawakan (2007 – 2008)
Zaido: Pulis Pangkalawakan (Zaido: The Space Sheriffs) is a Philippine series by GMA Network. It was meant to be a remake of the Metal Hero Series Uchuu Keiji Shaider.

Kamen Rider Birth (Above, second from the left) is actually Kazari, or more specifically, the human that Kazari chose. Kazari achieves this by forming a pact with Kougami's technology side.

OOO (Series Spoilers)

Gameru sacrifices himself for Mezuru, trading his remaining Core Medals to Ankh for Mezuru's.
A 5th Greed will appear. This Greed, Rusheru, is the "Mother of the Greeds". She seems to have more Core Medals.
Ankh isn't a Greed at all. He's a Yummy. Somewhere else, the true Ankh exists, and he has 5 Core Medals with him.
Kougami and Maki's plans are to revive the original OOO, possibly using Eiji as a "container" for his revival. This OOO would become "Artificial Greed, No. 3."

W:
ACCEL CHAPTER:

Commander Dopant Appears.
"Accel Booster" appears. This is an item that upgrades the Accel Memory and lets Ryuu attain and maintain the Yellow Accel form. The Commander Dopant will use this item too.

ETERNAL CHAPTER:

Ice Dopant and Utopia Dopants appear.
The chapter serves as backstory to Never, not just Daido. and as such takes place before A to Z. Here, we find never in a mission to a town composed of Psychic people. Daido has in his control the T1 version of the Eternal Memory, but his transformation is unstable. He gains a new form, "Kamen Rider Eternal Red Flare" which is a red Eternal.
Apparently, W appears briefly in this chapter, but has no real contact with anybody. (He is set to appear in the OOO Chapter.)

FINALLY! Power Rangers Samurai 2010 Toy Pictures Released

I was waiting and waiting for pictures to the new line and very impatiently. And I secretly feared it would look horrible and unfortunately, it has come true. The designs look great, but I am disappointed not to see show-accurate figures. UPDATE: These do appear on the show, they are called Mega Mode.

Power Rangers 4" Figure Series 01
Five Rangers and Nanashi Figure. The designs look great, but I am disappointed not to see show-accurate figures. The only one I like here is the Nanashi. The girls have no skirts and the only thing accurate are the colors and the stripes and belt, that's it. The boots look a bit like the Dragon Knight boots. These look like they were supposed to be for vehicles. Where are the show accurate figures???! How can you revamp a franchise when the toys don't even look like the actual Rangers in the series? UPDATE: These do appear on the show, they are called Mega Mode.

Red Cycle with Red Ranger
This all look sloppy, the bike has zero color and the figure almost looks show accurate but lack of color, this looks like it was slapped together in a week. Blue available as well.

Even the weapon looks like it is on steroids.

Morphin Action Power Rangers 6.5" Series 01
I suppose they morph into actor faces, these look bulky as the back-in-the day figures. I hope the girls get morphing figures.

The Zord looks great. These can combine with the Megazord.

Role Playing Weapons
The one (Deluxe Sword) to the left looks like the SPD battlizer weapon. The one in the middle (Basic Disc Sword) actually looks good. The morpher is no surprise that looks smaller and nothing like the Bandai japan one.

2011 Goukaiger Rumor: Skirts on Male Yellow Rangers?

A new rumor for Goukaiger is that since there will be a female Yellow and Pink rangers, and since the Goukaiger are to temporarily transform into past Rangers, the female Yellow Ranger will turn into male Rangers, but a skirt might be added. The majority of the female Rangers are played by stunt men, stunt women have been less. In fact with Goseiger, yellow is female and Pink's stunt person is male, while in Shinkenger, both females were played by women. Anyhoo, I find the addition of a skirt interesting. Dukemon22 says it is 'vica-versa' meaning the male Rangers might become female rangers but without a skirt perhaps (most likely), which is just the Blue Ranger, who might become one of four female Blue Rangers and maybe the skirt will be gone.

The above picture, I tried fixing it as good as I could. As you can tell, some aren't that great. It would be funny if this was true if this series gets transferred into Power Rangers, that we will see the five Yellow Rangers that had no skirts (since they were male rangers in Sentai) with skirts. I suppose Goukai Green will become green and black; Pink might become pink and white rangers (I don't know about Geki Chopper, Kibaranger, Abare Killer or others). And I am sure the Sixth Ranger will become past sixth rangers.

The 5 will probably only transform into the core team. 6th's will be left up to someone else. But we won't know details, until we know them lol. Meaning, nothing will be changed. When Goukai Blue becomes MagiBlue, Blue Swallow, Blue Dolphin or Hurricane Blue, then he will look just like them, skirt and all. And Goukai Yellow will become Yellow Rangers, if male, without the skirt. It is just for attacks anyway, it will be quick, not permanent.

The latter was right and the former was incorrect, a skirt will be removed if Goukai Blue becomes a past blue ranger that was female and Goukai Pink and Goukai Yellow will add a skirt to what power was of a male.
