“Power Rangers Samurai” Hits Series High Ratings, “Supah Ninjas” Hits Series Low

"On Saturday, April 30, the move of Power Rangers Samurai to a new day for new episodes caused the series to hit a record high in total viewers: 3.184 million viewers (you can see more ratings from the show here). In fact, Power Rangers Samurai’s noon airing on Saturday was watched by more people than each show airing in primetime that night on Nickelodeon and Disney Channel!

However, on the same day (and in primetime none-the-less), Supah Ninjas hit a series low, after only three weeks, in total viewers: 2.106 million viewers. The show premiered on April 16 to 3.1 million and dropped on April 23 to 2.872 million."

Come on George Takei! You're one of my favorite actors. OMG, George Takei should do the voice of Akumero.

This is good news for Samurai.

I saw the pilot for Supah Ninjas and it was meh. I felt it had a lot of PR elements in it but made more for younger kids. Come to think of it, now I remember what the main cast reminded me of...Beetleborgs.

George Takei should be the Jii for the Princess.

This is good news to Sentai actually, remember that the script for Shinkenger is re-use in PR Samurai even the recent episode...I mean that mean, people can accept Japanese script and why not go for original seeing that the script will make PR Samurai a hit! agree?!

Shiba Kaoru's retainer was named Tanba not Jii... who was Takeru's retainer. I don't mean to pick that out. But that comment just needed to be corrected sorry. I've never seen Supah ninjas but I agree very much to the Beetleborg vibe.
