Power Rangers Dino Charge Rumble App Game

Saban Brands have partnered with StoryToys for an all-new app, Power Rangers Dino Charge Rumble, launching tomorrow on the App Store! The app will feature an original Power Rangers Dino Charge story in a 2D comic strip narrative, combined with stunning 3D battles between the Rangers and their alien opponents.

StoryToys partners with Saban Brands to release Power Rangers Dino Charge Rumble, a high-octane game based on the new season of the iconic television series

Dublin, Ireland - August 27th, 2015 - StoryToys and Saban Brands today announced the release of Power Rangers Dino Charge Rumble, a 3D game for tablets and mobile phones integrating original comic book animation. Designed for Power Rangers fans of all ages to enjoy, the app is available from August 27th on the App Store, and is coming very soon to Google Play.

First launched in 1993, Saban’s Power Rangers quickly became the most-watched children’s television program in the United States and remains one of the top-rated and longest running children’s action series in television history. The winning formula combines action, adventure, humor and heart with themes of teamwork, fitness, friendship and helping others.

Power Rangers Dino Charge Rumble is a brand-new app based on the latest Power Rangers TV season, which returns to a dinosaur theme, one of the most popular themes throughout the history of the franchise. The app presents an original Power Rangers Dino Charge story in a 2D comic strip narrative, combined with stunning 3D ‘battles’ between the Rangers and their alien opponents. Rangers, villains, Megazords and more are featured in the game where players can battle the evil Sledge and his monster army with simple taps and easy swipes. Players can also master all the Ranger moves, choose between a range of weapons or giant robots towering over the city and control different Megazord formations in a clash with super-sized villains. There are seven chapters with over 20 levels to explore and master.

Additionally, the game engine adapts to reflect the playing ability of the user. The ease-of-use and contact-free action make this app suitable for even the youngest of fans, while dramatic visual effects and animations combined with a sophisticated comic book and mini games ensure that it will also have strong appeal for older fans.

“Saban’s Power Rangers is one of the world’s most popular and enduring children’s brands, and we’re thrilled to have partnered with Saban Brands to create a fresh and innovative experience for fans of all ages,” said Barry O’Neill, CEO of StoryToys.

“We are constantly looking for new ways to enhance the brand experience for our passionate Power Rangers fan base and working with StoryToys has allowed us to provide a brand-new digital product for fans to enjoy alongside the Power Rangers Dino Charge TV show,” said Brian Maeda, VP of Consumer Products, Saban Brands.

I Lavender Rnager have played it and it is mostly for kids, the story is like a 2-D comic book and the gameplay is 3D graphics. You can't choose which Rangers you want to play, the gameplay works fine. I will have my grandnephew Jaiden play it and I'll write what he thinks later, he has loved the apple games before.

Play Power Rangers Dash

UPDATED 4/4/15
It works for Android. iPhone users – the iOS version is coming soon. You can play 3 characters of a team like Dino Charge, Samurai, RPM, Operation Overdrive, Mystic Force, SPD, Wild Force and Mighty Morphin. The characters run and can change to the Megazord, sometimes you play as the Megazord. They are all in chibi forms. The monsters are generic and not from the show. The Rangers you can eventually collect are the Six MMPR (not White), Six Wild Force, Six SPD (Omega, not Shadow), Seven Mystic Force (Solaris Knight and White Mystic), Six Samurai, Seven RPM, Six Operation Overdrive, and Five Dino Charge and the Megazords. It is now available on Google Play.

I'm glad they have White Mystic Ranger and RPM Silver. So far I got Wild Force Red, Blue, Black, SPD Yellow, Dino Charge Pink, Operation Overdrive Pink and Yellow and MM Black.

The following images are from the Korean version, notice the bad English. In Korea, Super Sentai show is shown but called "Power Rangers." This game was originally made in Korea. In the original game, they got Super Megaforce and Flashman (Prism). Also Dino Charge has the Gold Ranger. Hopefully they will add more characters to the new US version.

Above, those are the playable characters except Super Megaforce in our version.

Power Rangers Super Megaforce at Monkey Quest

Ever since Power Rangers Samurai, the monkeys at Monkey Quest have been able to go to an arena and don the costumes (usually split by pants, shirt and mask). Those who play Monkey Quest, know these costumes don't protect much and are no substitute for armor. I want to commend the MQ people for doing a great job on the arena, it is bigger than any other arena for Power Rangers. Also it has 'Monkey Keys' (you can't use them but still nice to see them) with Red, Blue and Green Samurai and all 5 Megaforce represented. The lengths you have to go (fight X-Borgs and other monsters) are a bit long just for one item and getting repeats. Most items are for Level 10 and the Super Mega Saber are for Level 15. And you have to be a member to don them. This didn't happen before. I don't like that but it is clever. It ends June 24th so hurry and get your suits!

Lauren/Female Red Samurai Ranger in Media

UPDATED 7/26/13
I covered the female Red Ranger's Japanese Counterpart Hime Shinken Red and her merchandise before. (http://henshingrid.blogspot.com/2010/09/female-shinken-red-in-merchandise.html) Now I am covering where Lauren has appeared in Power Rangers media or merchandise. Since she comes in late in the game, it is hard to have her in any merchandise. Though Saban has been able to sneak her in. Nick.com had video of Lauren leading the team.

For the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade 2012, Lauren appeared with the other 19 Red Rangers to complete the 20 Red Rangers!

In February, Lauren joined the other Red Rangers on a bus in New York doing a tour around the city for a Twitter contest.

In the Nick.com game Power Rangers Samurai: Super Samurai, it has been upgraded with Lauren and Shogun mode.

Lauren has her special spinning attack like in the show but sometimes there are glitches.

When you win her over with Super Mode, only Jayden appears in the big picture sequence with the villain. Also, when she morphs we see Jayden's hand and his ranger form before the game starts. Even in super mode, sometimes it glitches and shows Jayden's regular Samurai mode instead of Super.

Jayden in Shogun Mode above. He holds his Fire Smasher on his back.

 Shogun close-up for both.
And the elusive '7th Mystery Ranger' which showed up in the UK and still hasn't appeared in the US stores. Some were hoping she would turn up in the Megabloks line but unfortunately the way they designed the female figures, they have no skirts so there is no way to show off the female Red Ranger and also their chests are all the same.

Also in the Super Samurai X-Box Game, Lauren is mentioned in the credits, she might be an unlockable character. No pictures have been seen yet of this.

Lauren has two cards in the Guardians of Justice series (2) of the Power Rangers ACG.

She has one card in Hope of the Universe (Series 3).

Volume 4 of Power Rangers Super Samurai was released June 11th. She is on the cover and back of the DVD and in the menu and DVD disc but Pink Ranger has been omitted.

She has replaced the White Ranger on the cover of Trivial Pursuit and Monopoly.

Apparently her Figuart was sold at the NYCC 2012.
