New Casting Sides for Power Rangers 2013

The following sides posted on Rangerboard to be said from the Casting Director, names like Sadie, Ava and Reese were used in early casting for Samurai, so most likely they are placeholder names:

Any ethnicity male, 18 - 23 to play 17-19 years. Reese is an attractive young man with super hero looks and a nice athletic build. He is a natural leader with honorable intentions. He is a much disciplined young man.
(Reese seems to be the Red Ranger. There doesn't seem to be color names, MAYBE to avoid fans knowing if this will be based on Goseiger and Gokaiger since Goseiger has Black and Gokaiger has Green instead.)

All ethnicity Male, 18 to 23 to play 17-19. He has good looks with a slim build. He is fearless, fun and athletic. He wears his heart on his sleeve.

Any ethnicity Male, 18 to early twenties to play 16-19 years. He is a bit on the nerdy side. He is a studious and highly intelligent.

Any ethnicity, 18 to 23 to play 16 to 19 years. Average height. Sadie is a beautiful, sophisticated, intelligent and confident. She is very intuitive and genuinely cares about others.
(Most likely Pink Ranger because the description is vaguely like Ahim De Famile/Gokai Pink)

Any ethnicity, 18 to early twenties to play 16 to 18 years of age. Average height. Ava is STUNNING and athletic. She is generally unflappable and tough, but has a heart of gold. A young Angelina Jolie type.
(Most likely Yellow Ranger because the description is vaguely like Luka Milfy/Gokai Yellow)

2 Male Ranger Sides:
Two parts, the first half has a Ranger talking to a cyborg that seems to had been his brother. It seems to be adapted from Gokaiger and localized for Power Rangers. The cyborg storyline is about Blue and his old friend who he called 'Sempai' and became the cyborg Barizorg. In this casting side, it is the Ranger's brother. From the vagueness of the writing, this seems to be a placeholder and may not actually be in the episodes. It also plainly states that this is only for the sides and not for the actual show.

The second half has a Silver Ranger talking to a former Ranger---Ryan, Red from Star Force. Where not such character exists in the actual Power Rangers universe, it seems to be based on the episode where Gai/Gokai Silver meets Ryu/Ryu Ranger of Dairanger, which they are the Five Star Force so it makes sense of a placeholder. They do mention 'Mega Force' which was copyrighted months ago by Saban.

Pink Ranger Sides:
This seems to be based on the Ohranger tribute episode but Sadie the Pink Ranger seems to be based on Oh Pink and not Ahim/Gokai Pink. There seems to be no personality to it and strange fit, but we'll see how this plays out.

So if these Casting Sides and Descriptions are indeed legit, means Gokaiger will become 'Mega Force.' 'Mega' of 'Mega Force' makes sense. If they are the team to have the powers of all past Power Rangers---to have an, albeit, generic name---'Mega' gives an 'epic feel' to it. 'Mega' being one half of the iconic word 'Megazord' used in every team, it seems fitting that the 'Mega Force' is the name for the particular team that has powers of past teams and is for an anniversary season.

UPDATED 4/27/11:
Yellow Ranger Sides!
This one seems to be a modified version of the Luka/Gokai Yellow and Go Pink episode with GoPink of GoGoFive. This scene only has Yellow (Ava--placeholder name used for Samurai) and a paramedic and a mention of the same stones from the Pink Ranger sides and also Silas, who I assume is Basco from Gokaiger.

What I would like for the actors of the 2013 season, as is the adaptation of Gokaiger, I would like to have the same ethnic group as actors in the first season of MMPR.

Sounds like they're planning some magic MacGuffin Stones in place of the Ultimate Powers. Reminds me of how the Precious in Boukenger became the gems in Operation Overdrive as a way a streamlining and simplifing the overall story. Given how the Ultimate Powers tied so closely to the amount of teams the Sentai had compared to PR, giving this team something new to chase after and collect is probably a good idea.

Yeah I see them copying the same Gokaiger and villain stories, probably keeping the villains in tact--making fans angry at the lack of development of Zangyack. And of course modifying the Legend backgrounds for Power Ranger history. I hope the writers don't copy Sentai Legends like in the Pink Ranger casting side. The whole point of a series based on Gokaiger would be focusing on Power Ranger histories other than Super Sentai.

Lionel_B, would you really want an Asian Yellow Ranger? Well, if they do use Gokaiger, the African-American would be Green, not Black if they kept the same ethnic groups of the first Rangers. I doubt they would. An African-American Pink Ranger would be nice.

Personally, green is a color I've always hated. But I liked the Green Ranger Lost Galaxy and Lightspeed Rescues. And I wonder if it's not because they are African-American. It's a bit why I want to see more African-American rangers in green. And note in passing, for the Rangers Megaforce, I wanted it the same ethnicity as the Jungle Fury (all white except the blue ranger is Asian).

A pink ranger african-american ? ... I do not see (at least for adapting Goseiger and Gokaiger). But I imagined that if we had in a PR 2013 adaptation of the episode 29 of Gokaiger, Ethan (the blue ranger DinoThunder) would have married an African-American who claim to be the old Pink Ranger DinoThunder, an adaptation to AbarePink (although I do not like AbarePink)

Please, please, please! Tell me when they're doing these auditions! I've been waiting for news of this for so long and I want to try because well, I've always wanted to be a Ranger! If anyone knows the dates of the audition, please let me know! Thank you!

Man... too bad the toys (assuming they'll use the Mobirates/Gokai Saber/Gokai Gun) will be out too late for me to use them for cosplay next year at Sakura-Con...

If these are true, pretty interesting. I do hope the the "Legends" are placeholders, just for the heck of it, but I'm very interested.
