Seperated at Birth: Miss America and Centaur of Tattooed Teenage Alien Fighters

I know this is just a coincidence but I always found something odd about Miss America. Miss America from Battle Fever J was made in 1979 and Tattooed Teenage Alien Fighters from Beverly Hills was made in 1994, but to be fair I saw TTAFFBH before I knew about Battle Fever J or even Super Sentai. I never liked the hair coming out of her mask and I think it is because of their resemblance. It is pure coincidence that they look alike since the creators of TTAFFBH probably had no idea about Battle Fever J but they just copied Power Rangers with the silver mouths and went the cheap route. The only thing they have in common is the face: blond hair, silver nose and mouth and mask, not the colors nor suit and Miss America had a jewel on her forehead. Anyway I felt like mentioning it, it is my blog after all.

Shiny Metallic Figures

In the Summer of 1995, when the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers movie was coming out, Bandai America released figures with boxes in black and silver, in honor of the movie. Basically everything was repackaged. The 5.5" figures were the same as the auto-morphin figures and 8" figures were the same as the 8" figures except that the Ninja animal emblem were on the chests and the coating was metallic.

Delta Armor Power Rangers (SPD) - Metallic skin (expect for bottom arms and bottom legs).
[94256-94259] Special Eiditon 5.5" Power Rangers - Operation Overdrive, Mystic Force, Wild Force, and Dino Thunder Red Rangers. These figures that were previously released, now come with metallic coating and new weapons.

Special Eiditon 5.5" Power Rangers - Lightspeed Rescue, S.P.D., Jungle Fury, and Ninja Storm Red Rangers. These figures that were previously released, now come with metallic coating and weapons used for the previous special editions. The Jungle Fury figure is the Strike Riders figure.

Special Edition 6.5" Red Power Rangers: [Counter-Clockwise] Power Rangers in Space, Turbo, Operation Overdrive, Mighty Morphin, Zeo, and Lost Galaxy Red Power Ranger. Their chests have metallic coating and come in 'Operation Overdrive' packaging.
Release Date: Summer of 2007

Power Rangers Samurai - Origins Part 1

Like I thought "Origins" is just the first episode, just like Shinkenger's first episode, with no reference of the past episodes. You would think it would have an opener with Antonio asking how they met, but no nothing like that. Antonio does not appear in the credits. So why postpone the episode? Why not do any editing to it?

The Nighlok rise and Jayden is told he must join a team, Jii sends arrows to four young people. Mia gets picked up by a big black car. Oooh Kevin shirtless with nice abs and it looks much better than seeing Ryunousuke in kabuki makeup. Kevin is for a swimming match and comes to the black car, thinking Mia is the Red Ranger, saying he didn't see she was a girl (foreshadowing). Emily and Mike all meet, Emily thinks Kevin is Red and he is wearing blue. Jayden comes in a horse hilariously. Jayden's speech sounds like a Reality Show. This so should had been the premiere, it gave me goosebumps. We also see the rarely seen Pink and Yellow cockpits. And about the 18th Leader comment? Clearly about the 18th head of Shiba Clan, the lords in Shinkenger. As for Power Rangers linearly, he is the 15th, not counting RPM and SPD. If you count by seasons and count Charlie, he can be 18th.
