Planned but Never Released Power Ranger Toys

Okay self-explanatory, these are not toys were released by Bandai Japan, except for of course the Spiral Saber. These are toys that were planned to be released but never were sold in stores in the United States.

Power Claws (MMPR)
The Power Claws vehicle was scheduled to be released in season 2 toy line but never was. I remember when I first saw it, I wondered where it was from and I didn't think it would be on the show and I was right, it wasn't. A version of it was indeed released with the Power Dome playset.

Rita Replusa/Scorpina/Mutitus (MMPR)
The most coveted figure ever would be Rita. I remember wanting a Rita Replusa figure too.
Reason Not Released: Rumors say that Rita's pointy chest and therein the pointedness of Scorpina and Mutitus didn't let them to be released because of US standards. These pictures above are of the prototypes, along with the other figures that were released. Some fans point that they would have rather had human Scorpina than the monster version.

Witchblade (MMMPR)
She was set to be released with the season three toys but I guess her pointy-ness also didn't let her be released.

PVC Figurines Series Three (MMPR)
Rito, Master Vile, Lord Zedd, Silent Knight, Shogun Mega Falconzord, Shogun Megazord, Ninja Megazord, Ninja Mega Falconzord, Falconzord, Rocky, Aisha, Adam. They were not released. I believe the reason was because the PVC figures were no longer selling and they pulled out before they sold them. Also meant to be released was the Lord Zedd Playset that was meant to be released Fall 95, it may have been small, I think fans would have bought a Power Dome-sized one.

Terrorsaur (Turbo)
For Zeo, there were scheduled dolls of Tommy, Tanya, and Kat, I don't have a picture but I remember seeing them in promos. For Turbo, Maligore and Terrorsaur were scheduled, I never saw them in promos or anything.

Spiral Saber (Space)
Reason Why Not Released:It was going to be released in the United States but it did not pass the standards of the American toy bureau or something.

Zord Armor Rangers (Time Force)
Planned but never released, reason unknown.

Prototype for Lunar Wolf Zord Armor Ranger (Wild Force)
There were Armor Rangers but this one never went beyond the prototype phase.

Ninja Buggy (Ninja Storm)
It was a repaint of the Galactic Rover with a Winger attached to the top, it was not released.

Z-Rex Morphin Racer (PRDT)
It was of the Triasaurus Rex colors, I will go over Triasaurus Rex on the next post.

Black Raptor Charger (Dino Thunder)
The Black Ranger's Raptor Rider was avaliable in Japan but was not released from Bandai America in America and this was going to be done, and with style, battery operated. But maybe it didn't work out.

Mega Battlized Power Rangers (SPD)
The Red Megazord one was released but the Shadow one was not released. Shadow Ranger was suppose to become a canine. It looks clunky.

11" Mega Power Rangers (Jungle Fury)
These have been around since Mystic Force, and they were not sold well, so maybe that is the reason this was not released.

Transforming Jungle King Megazord (Jungle Fury)
Okay, this American-made Megazord did not see the light of day and fans are happy about that. It was also going to come out in other colors and they were not released.

Hello, I'm Raúl from Spain.
In Spain, the MMPR plastic figures of Adam, Aisha and Rocky were indeed released. I don't have them cos my family didn't have money that time and I never got toys, but I had seen them.
The thing I think I've got is a BANDAI toys little book where they have it included, but don't have a scanner.
Maybe a webcam shot would be useful?

I think that the Galactic Rover, and in turn the Ninja Buggy, is a repaint of the toy from the 1991 Sentai Jetman, Jet Striker (another version matched the one seen in Jetman that turned into a cannon called the Fire Bazooka).

Oh man, having a Maligore figure would be amazing and since Hasbro brought Power Rangers, I hope Hasbro will make a Maligore figure for Lightning Collection along with Psycho Pink and some other Villains that could come pretty soon for this line.
