now this is what i call fair poll results...perfectly balanced and each deserving....i love MEGUMI aka BlueDolphin.
I'm kinda surprise to see Peggy won. I always assumed that not many people have watched the 70s series.
While I liked Megumi, I thought Akira from Maskman was kinda cool. I especially like the episode where he was possessed by the spirit of a legendary swordsman and almost defeat his teammates.
Megumi shouldn't have run for this poll. It was about warriors, not lousy crybabies.
@BlueDolphin: I beg to differ. This poll really is heartrending for one who liked Goggle V (all lowest votes go to Goggle V characters? Seriously?). Like me.
I hate you all.
(Just kidding on that last one! As I said... Goggle V is underrated -_-)
@Anonymous 1: Peggy won because she's the first pink ranger ever. Dunno why this didn't give Mika/Jun the edge for the first female yellow rangers ever (plus, come on, they're from Bioman).
@Anonymous 2: I beg to differ, even after going against what BlueDolphin said. Megumi does have the credit for being the first female blue ranger ever. Also, while she does has a tender heart that she cries a lot, she... DOESN'T cry as much as people clamored her to be. Yes, she cried, but not every single episode. Then again, who can blame her when Liveman is a pretty dark season? Take it from one who've watched the entire Liveman season, not one who only reads in sites only.
That's the point, ChrisX. I've watched every episode of Liveman and I couldn't think anything besides "that girl is annoying as hell". Thinking on darker seasons, Momoko and Haruka from Maskman are way superior, in mind and brawl factors.
Megumi may have been a crybaby in the series... but she has to be one of the smartest blue senshis in sentai...and when it comes to her fighting style...i think her fighting style is strong though not that much...but powerful enough...but thats my opinion... some of u guys might think something else.
@Anonymous. Megumi gradually stops crying. Crying doesn't mean you aren't a strong warrior. I mean, watch Liveman closely, and you can see that a lot of horrible things have happened just in the first episode. I don't want to go into detail but: two friends dead. Three friends are now evil and are virtual strangers, and the rest of your friends die in a spaceship crash caused by your three ex-friends. Megumi, you have every right to cry.
@ThatChick Thanx, you are right....megumi was crying because she had reasons...i would have done the same thing if my friends died right in front of my eyes....not once but twice...
And even then... as much as she cried, she was just mostly dropping 'single tear', rather than flat out bawling (except the early two episodes and that time with Butchy). Call her 'crybaby', but Megumi did try her best not to cry.
