"Who is your favorite Sixth Ranger"

Let me make this clear. There is an enormous difference between "Sixth" Ranger, and "Other" Rangers that don't belong to the core team. For example the Crimson and Navy Thunder Rangers are NOT Sixth Rangers. The following are the only Sixth Ranger Powers in the show's Universe: Mighty Morphin Green, Mighty Morphin White, Gold Zeo, Phantom Turbo, Silver Space, Magna Defender, Titanium, Quantum, Lunar, Green Samurai(NS), White Dino, Shadow/Omega (Fans count either/or), Solaris Knight, Mercury, Spirit Rangers, RPM Gold/Silver, and Gold Samurai. Out of these, my favorites are...

Power Rangers 30 Day Challenge, Day 10

"Who would be the hardest villain to defeat?"

Complete opposite of the previous question. My choice are the Psycho Rangers of in Space and Lost Galaxy, and Venjix of RPM. Both very threatening in different ways, and I'll tell you why. As a child, I remember the Psycho Rangers being the first Power Rangers villains that actually kind of freaked me out. They were so hardcore and ambitious to kill the Rangers, there'd never been anything like it thus far in the series. That of course was when I was much younger. In more modern years I've been a little freaked out by Venjix. He took over the world and murdered billions of innocent people! In comparison to other villains in movies and TV, he may not be that bad, but when you're watching Power Rangers, a villain like that feels so foreign, creepy, and all around awesome. So that's why I chose the Psycho Rangers and Venjix as the hardest villains to defeat in the Power Rangers universe.

Power Rangers 30 Day Challenge, Day 9

"What do you think would be the easiest Power Rangers villain to defeat?"

That's a pretty easy one. I'm guessing lots of you are thinking the same thing as me! The Z-Putty Patrolers. Duh, no brainer! All you have to do is tap them in the middle of a giant, flashy, target smack-dab in the middle of their chest, and kaboom! They dissolve like a flushed turd. What was Lord Zedd thinking? Rita Repulsa's original Putties were better. *Upgrade fail*.

Power Rangers 30 Day Challenge, Day 8

"What Power Rangers items do you own?"

For being such a huge fan, I honestly don't own an extremely large collection. Just several boxes of collectables and other assorted items neatly placed in a closet. These items include action figures and accessories from Mighty Morphin, Zeo, in Space, Lightspeed Rescue, and DinoThunder. I've got several VHS tapes, video games, booklets, and other nicknacks like beach towels, hats, birthday party items, and other random things like that, you know, just casual stuff. I've never really been big on collecting action figures, but I'm sure if I started I'd get hooked haha!

So many to choose from! I'm gonna go with the original Power Sword. No- wait, actually the Power Daggers. Or better yet, how could you not go with the Power Ax? Surprisingly difficult question. Because I can't decide between the coolest out of the original team, I've decided to just go with an old favorite: The Quasar Sabers.

Hey everyone, sorry for the delay on these posts for the last few days! Anyway, it's that time of year again. Love is in the air and Valentine's Day is just around the corner. What a better time to talk about the subject of Day 5!

For me, a few choices instantly came to mind, and those are the Ranger's I'll be showcasing. Let's get started.


Jason Lee Scott, Red Mighty Morphin Power Ranger, Gold Zeo Ranger. Played by the amazing Austin St. John. So, so HOT! I've been crushing on him for as long as I can remember. In my opinion, hottest Ranger ever. In both his physical appearance and his smooth, sexy attitude.

Power Rangers 30 Day Facebook Challenge

"Who is your favorite villain?"

My favorite villain is Trakeena, the main antagonist of Power Rangers Lost Galaxy. Played by Amy Miller, Trakeena started out as a slinky, treacherous, daddy's girl who liked to sabotage her father's generals for fun.. and Power! Midway through the season, Trakeena underwent an enormous change in character, becoming a crazed warrior queen fueled by revenge. For the finale, she underwent one final change in character. At this point she's become nothing less than a bloodthirsty maniac, destroying everything in her way. I loved every second of it. Trakeena was brilliant in the finale. She'd turned into a tragic character, killing every last one of her generals and minions. Like I've said before, very epic finale and season as a whole. Overall, she's not someone you'd ever want to mess with in the Power Rangers Universe. My second favorite villain, or villainess I should say, is Tenaya of Power Rangers RPM. Awesome storyline and very B.A. character. My third favorite(s) are Marah and Kapri of Power Rangers Ninja Storm. Many fans have mixed feelings about the duo, but I'm definitely not afraid to say that I loved them and found them hilarious. Their ditsiness and shenanigans had me laughing every episode.

"What is your favorite Ranger color or designation?"

Here are your basic options: Red, Yellow, Black/Green, Pink/White, Blue, Sixth Ranger colors, and 'Other' Ranger colors like Orange (ex. S.P.D. Kat Ranger), Navy (ex. Ninja Storm Navy Thunder Ranger), etc. Well I choose Yellow. Yellow has been my favorite for most of my time as a fan of Power Rangers (a long time). I honestly think the source of my fondness for it comes from the androgynous vibe that descends from many Yellow Rangers, especially the ones that were male in Japan. As a child that really intrigued me for some reason. Being able to be feminine and masculine at the same time without being too feminine like most Pink Rangers. On top of that, I'm a very androgynous person myself. I chose the name 'Pat' to make my gender undistinguishable as an Internet blogger and to this day no one knows my true gender, sexuality, or identity for that matter. Anyway, back on topic, my favorite Yellow Rangers are:

"Which is your favorite season of Power Rangers?"

This is probably the question that's been asked the most throughout the fandom ever since there has been more than one season! Well, it's also an extremely difficult question for me. I've thought about it a lot and I've come to solid two seasons that I can somewhat confidently call my all-time favorites. They are,  *drumroll*, Lost Galaxy and RPM. Two seasons that had me totally hooked from episode one all the way to the finale. Speaking of which, Lost Galaxy and RPM had two of the most epic finales in the franchise, in my opinion, giving Countdown to Destruction a run for its money...

Big news for Power Rangers and Super Sentai

If you haven't already heard the big news, it's been confirmed that Toei is indeed re-shooting the Legend War for Power Rangers, of course excluding Rangers from Goranger-Jetman. This is leading many fans to believe that Goseiger will be used as the 20th Anniversary, but with re-filmed past-Ranger footage, and many concepts from Gokaiger. That alone is leading most fans to believe that Saban is saving the Pirate theme for a later, non-anniversary season without past Rangers since the Goseiger adaption may use them instead. I for one think that this is a very good idea. I remember last winter I suggested to some fellow fans a similar concept (Goseiger using the past-Ranger footage instead of Gokaiger). No one liked the idea at the time, but now it may be a possibility. What are your thoughts?

Believe it or not, that's not the only big news from the last few days that's had fans talking, celebrating, or in this case even scratching their heads: Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters is the official 36th Super Sentai Series, but TOEI decided to launch another Super Sentai series named Hikonin Sentai AkibaRanger (iterally: Unofficial Squadron).

This "Unofficial Squadron" is not part of the official line of Super Sentai but is still called a Super Sentai anyway. Consider it an "EX Super Sentai".

AkibaRanger will tell the story of three young people (a boy and two girls according to the picture) being part of an otaku club and living in the new "Electric-Town" Akihabara. They will have to fight a mysterious malevolent entity that swore to conquer Earth with cool gadgets created by a brilliant genius. No word on any actors yet, but there will be a toyline!

     Hello everyone, it's me Pat, everyone's favorite androgynous enigma in the Ranger fandom!
