What if other Saban tokusatu the movie treatment?

Power Rangers opened beyond expectations in the US and since they are planning six movies which would retell Mighty Morphin Power Rangers saga. One fan mentioned if they brought back one of the old Saban tokusatsu properties back. There is VR Troopers, Big Bad Beetleborgs, Masked Rider and The Mystic Knights of Tira Nog. Mystic Knights is not on Netflix like the other proprieties neither it has been on DVD from Shout Factory, it probably wasn't popular enough for a release. Mystic Knights was an original property without any Japanese footage. Masked Rider has tremendous copyright blocks from Toei and Shotaro Ishinomori family who do not want to give the copyright for any DVDs and any new adaptions.  I highly doubt any of these shows will get the movie treatment as the DVDs did not sell as well as expected. If they did, we would see more products about them like anything from Funko, Loyal Subjects, Welovefine, Bandai, etc.

VR Troopers

Original Premise: Ryan Steele has been missing his father who mysteriously disappeared, he and his two friends get a message from Steele's friend Professor Hart. They become VR Troopers to fight Grimlord from the virtual world, who in reality is an industrialist by the name of Karl Ziktor. Did I mention the Dojo, talking dog and flying car?

Movie Ideas: Bad boy Ryan Steele has been without his father through his teen years and went through foster home to foster home. He bumps into childhood friend and computer hacker JB who he hasn't seen in years. JB is openly gay, Ryan finds him strange, and JB Reese may have a crush on him. Ryan secretly wants to find his father even though he openly says he is a deadbeat for abandoning him. JB helps him track down his father. Kaitlin Star, a budding online investigative journalist is investigating industrialist Karl Viktor who is running for president ala Trump. Viktor is also an interdemensional being bent on conquering the real world. Eventually they find armor and technology from Ryan's father to become VR Troopers and fight Grimlord and his army. Gone would be talking Jeb and Professor Hart.
Appeal: When I thought Virtual Reality would never be back in style but it has come back in style. And the series was already serious to begin with. The movie could concentrate on faith, where Ryan lost his faith in finding his father and then gets hope again. And to never give up.

 Big Bag Beetleborgs
Aired: 1995-1997 (2 Seasons)

Original Promise: Three average kids enter a seemingly abandoned house and free a genie that makes them their favorite comic book superheroes, unfortunately it frees the comic book villains. The house also has classic monsters like a mummy, werewolf, vampire, etc.

Movie Idea: Lots of fans, even my grandnephew want this to get the movie treatment but I find it way more goofier a premise than Power Rangers. One fan suggested it could be like Spy Kids. I don't see it as serious as Power Rangers with PG-13 rating, cursing, vandalism and sexual exploring. But if it kept the tone of Spy Kids and had edge then maybe we had something. How about the haunted mansion become a whole abandoned amusement park and each attraction had one of these conflicted 'monsters' like the count is a conflicted vampire who doesn't want to suck blood, werewolf keeping it a secret, etc. Flabber can be an actual genie that grants wishes and the kids were the only ones that could free them. They can have common superpowers and not individual ones like on the show. The main villain can be Shadowborg instead of Vexor and his cronies. Or instead of being too close to the source material, they can get rid of Flabber and the monsters and just have the three kids be actual spies and work for the government. The government can give them superpowers and Shadowborg can be a rogue experiment gone wrong.

Masked Rider

Original Premise: Orphaned alien is adopted by a multiracial family while he had to fight his uncle Count Dragon as the Masked Rider. Fans of Kamen Rider didn't really like it but lately American Toku fans have taken to Ferbus and started a meme "Hail Ferbus." As I said because of legal ties and failure of Masked Rider twice in America (in 1995 by Saban and in 2009 as Kamen Rider Dragon Knight by Adness Entertainment) Toei have been reluctant to release anything on DVD or even let adaptations happen again (Power Rider). One hope would be if Power Rangers (2017) does extremely well internationally, especially in the Asian market and Toei takes notice and allows for a dark Kamen Rider production.

Movie Idea: My movie idea would do nothing with the Masked Rider premise and be closer to Kamen Rider the First, the Japanese reboot. Kamen Rider The First was about a college student being kidnapped and brainwashed  by a terrorist organization named Shocker to become a cyborg assassin named Hopper. The names could be changed but I think it would be a good premise. Let's say: Heath Henderson, college student gets kidnapped and conditioned by the terrorist group S to be a cyborg assassin called H. H remembers his humanity when attacking Journalist Ana and her fiance Kyle. Kyle is killed by one of the cyborgs, Spider. Heath rebels from S and given a motorcycle called the Cyclone. S creates another cyborg like H called H2 that resembles Ana's fiance. Heath swears to Ana to save her fiance and free whoever he can from the hold of S.

Power Rider Trademark extended A SECOND TIME

SCG POWER RANGERS LLC sent an application for trademark of Power Rider in July of 2011, it was granted in September. Then they filed extension and it was granted in May of 2012. April of 2013 it was approved for a second extension. But nothing has happened with it. What is the difference between Copyright and Trademark?

 

The purpose of a copyright is to protect works of authorship as fixed in a tangible form of expression. The registration processes of copyright and trademark are entirely different. For copyright the filing fee is small, the time to obtain registration is short. For trademark the filing fee is larger, the time to obtain registration is much longer and examination by the Trademark Office. The purpose of a trademark is to protect words, phrases and logos used in federally regulated commerce to identify the source of goods and/or services.

 

Many fans think that Power Rider has to do with Kamen Rider, which is also made by Toei like Super Sentai. Saban adapted Kamen Rider Black RX into Masked Rider in 1995. Adness Entertainment adapted Kamen Rider Ryuki (2002) into Kamen Rider Dragon Knight in 2009. Many fans want Kamen Rider Fourze (2012) to be adapted into Power Rider. But maybe Power Rider is something else or just a trademark to get one 'just cause.'

PMC3: What I learned at Power Morphicon

I love behind the scenes stuff and here are stuff I learned about production and clarifying rumors:

1. I totally forgot this: Johnny Yong Bosch's name is not really YONG! Yong is his mother's maiden name. Producers wanted him to sound more ASIAN! This shocked Blake Foster, believing him to always be Yong.
2. ADR (Audio Digital Recording) is usually in post-production, bask in the day it would go along with the same production schedule. They would shoot for 3 episodes at the same time, alternating scenes. 
3. I asked Scott Page-Pagter about Mystic Knights second season and he said he got to travel to Ireland. He told the actors to come to his house when they visit the US. He regretted it because most of them came to crash at his house. So he was with Lisa Dwan (Deirdre) when they were told "Oh did you know we were cancelled?" And it was awkward with her there as they both didn't know. He said they really didn't have any plans for the second season yet. He knew they were mulling it over. He thinks it was cancelled for low toy sales. He seemed to not be aware that the budget was used for Lost Galaxy. I couldn't ask more because time was running out at the panel.
4. Tony Oliver, Scott Page-Pagter and Mark Litton explained they got chunks of Sentai footage and had to hurry up and worked 3 episodes at the time. They just went by the monster. They didn't worry about the name of the series or what it was.
5. According to David Stenstrom (voice of King Mondo and dad in Masked Rider), he was told that Masked Rider will be coming to DVD next year. I was surprised to find out that he knows a bit of Kamen Rider and seen some episodes.
6. I did not know that Phillip Jeanmarie was half Asian and African-American! His wife/significant other is Asian and their child is soooo cute and looks like an Asian version of him according to her.
7. Hector David Jr. is dating a certain red-headed Nickelodeon actress.
8. I knew about the flash mob, wanted to go but was in line for the David Yost's panel. 
9. Didn't know that Daniel Southworth worked as a costumed Power rangers on tours.
10. For RPM, Eddie G. did mean for Gem and Gema to be upbeat and positive opposite the darkness and seriousness of the main 5 (or 4, cutting out Ziggy) compare to Go-Onger that was the opposite where Go-On Wings were more stern. 
11. As for the voice actors like Robert Axelrod, the higher-ups didn't believe he was the voice he auditioned for Zedd. He thought Zedd was a Monster of the Day (MotD) at first. He had voiced Finster and other MotD (like Eye Guy and Goo Fish). 
12. Barbara Goodson's first instruction for Rita was to sound like the Wicked Witch from Wizard of Oz. She did it but then they said it was 'not scary' and they wanted to get someone else. She then did the Rita we know and they were impressed.
13. Won't say who said it but they said, "Saban's motto is if it isn't broken, break it..." "And then break it again," someone else added.
14. Barbara Gordon, Kerrigan Mahan and Robert Axelrod were actors that worked for Saban for a while already and were naturally going to do MMPR. 
15. The "Reel Fish Story" is one of David Yost's favorite episodes.
16. Catherine Sutherland calls Karan Ashley "Beyonce" because Karan started doing it.
17. I gave Gabrielle Fitzpatrick my two Dulcea trading cards because she said she never had any. I told her there was a ton of Dulcea merch.
18. The voice actor Kerrigan Mahan changed Goldar's voice because constantly speaking in a gravely voice it "got to a point when i'd have to stop tape and rest my throat, doing Goldar really did a number on me." He also said that at first, he was really trying it out, trying to find the voice. He was surprised people thought it was another actor.
19. Sabrina Lu (Scorpina) and Christopher Cho (Nukus from Beetleborgs Metallix) both got their jobs because "they fit in the suits."
20.  I am remembering more stuff now. Like how Sabrina Lu (Scorpina) says she got the job for 'Goldar's Vice Versa' because she fit the suit. She heard that people thought she was not available for other episodes, she says it is not true, that she was available. She wasn't called back.
21. Ron Rogge thought the role of Captain Mitchell was a small role and shocked when it was bigger when he got it. It was meant for an older guy so he put grey in his hair. 
22. A 50 year-old British was to be Captain Mitchell but he was to go to vacation and Ron Rogge got the role.
23. Also Tony Oliver was only to write the Bulk and Spike stuff for Power Rangers Samurai.
24. Johnny Bosch says the 'Veteran Rangers' of Operation Overdrive could really drink him under the table.
25. When asked about the voices they used when Austin, Thuy and Walter left, they used footage of them and their voices from before but sometimes you could clearly hear someone else's voice. Tony Oliver says he mostly used their voices and tried to match it. He revealed that he actually dubbed over Austin's voice. I think it sounded good.
    
    

Saban's other properties 'back in the day.'

We all know the live-action franchises Saban had in the 1990's like VR Troopers, Beetleborgs, Mystic Knights of Tira Nog, and Ninja Turtles; but he also adapted Anime like Hello Kitty, Samurai Pizza Cats, Dragonball Z, Little Mermaid, X-Men, and Digimon. There were several other collaborations like Camp Candy, Ulysses 31, Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors, and The Mysterious Cities of Gold. Samurai Pizza Cats, Dragonball Z, Eagle Riders and Masked Rider reruns were part of a syndicated block called something like "Saban Hour" or "Saban Block" from 1996-1997. (Does anyone know?)

The series first aired in Japan from February 1990 to 1991, containing a total of 54 episodes. Saban introduced the show to western audiences in 1996 and held the license to the series until 2002. The theme song for the English dub differs from the origina. In keeping with the parodic nature of the show, the lyrics of the new theme song make a number of references to American pop culture. For example, the lyrics "they've got more fur than any turtle ever had" imply that the Samurai Pizza Cats are better than the Ninja Turtles, while the lyrics "they're stronger than old cheese, tougher than dirt" refer to an advertising slogan once used for the cleaner Ajax. 

 

The theme song also contains the line "As soon as someone finds the script, we might begin the show", which can be interpreted as a reference to the lack of transcripts. Michael Airington under the name of "Googie Gomez", one of the show's writers, sang the theme song. According to Andy Thomas, Airington had a few drinks before the recording session for the song started, and as a result, accidentally repeated some of the lyrics (i.e., "this cat gets down down with a love hang over"). As of 2012, Discotek Media currently holds the license to the series. It aired on weekdays and weekends for the Saban block.

The promo had the kids and background images similar to the Saban Block commercial bumpers/eye catchers.

 Saban's Eagle Riders

The original Anime series, produced in 1972, was eponymously named Kagaku Ninja Tai Gatchaman and is most well known to the English-speaking world as the adaptation titled Battle of the Planets. There was a 1980s English-language adaptation called G-Force: Guardians of Space. The two sequel series, Gatchaman II and Gatchaman Fighter were combined into one and translated as Eagle Riders in 1996, with yet more changes to audio and character names.

The rights to the English language version of Eagle Riders is owned by Saban Entertainment. All 65 episodes aired in Australia, but in the United States only 13 episodes were aired. Both series were heavily edited when it came to the adaptation process, with controversial elements removed, as well as the entire soundtrack being replaced. As with previous English adaptations of Gatchaman, character names and terms were also changed in the localization. This was also part of the Saban block, airing on weekends. The 1991 Super Sentai Jetman was a homage to Gatchaman.

Dragonball Z

They contracted Saban Entertainment to help finance and distribute the 1989-1996  Anime series to television, Pioneer Entertainment to handle home video distribution, Ocean Productions to dub the anime, and Shuki Levy to compose an alternate musical score. This dub of Dragon Ball Z was heavily edited for content, as well as length; reducing the first 67 episodes into 53. The series premiered in the U.S. on September 13, 1996, in first-run syndication to broadcast networks, but was cancelled after two seasons due to low ratings. This along with Masked Rider reruns was part of the syndicated Saban block.

Saban's Masked Rider

This was part of the syndicated Saban block. The Saban block only lasted Fall 1996 to September of  1997.

 X-Men

Saban and Marvel produced the 1992 animated series X-Men. Soon after, ABC Family and Toon Disney began airing reruns, due to Disney's buyout of all Saban Entertainment programs.

Digimon

The first Digimon television series, which began airing on March 7, 1999 in Japan on Fuji TV and Kids Station and on August 14, 1999 in the United States on Fox Kids dubbed by Saban Entertainment for the North American English version. It was dubbed by Saban Entertainment (later Sensation Animation), and was initially broadcasted through Fox Network's Fox Kids and Fox Family. The first four series were collectively retitled Digimon: Digital Monsters. Some scenes from the original version were omitted from the Saban dub, or were modified, in order to comply with Fox's Standards and practices which considered several scenes to be inappropriate for the target age group. After Disney acquired Saban during the third series, the first three series moved to the cable network ABC Family, while the fourth (Frontier) premiered on UPN. 

This was due to a deal between Disney and UPN which concluded with Digimon Frontier. Frontier was syndicated on ABC Family shortly after that. Digimon continues to run in syndication on the new channel after Toon Disney, Disney XD. Digimon Data Squad had started to air on Disney XD. Digimon is no longer on Disney XD's website nor Bandai's, leaving an unknown future of Digimon in America. 

 Saban's Adventures of the Little Mermaid

 Adventures of the Little Mermaid (人魚姫 マリーナの冒険?) is an animated series produced by Fuji Television in the 1991. This 26-episode TV series was originally a Japanese/French co-production created by Jean Chalopin and directed by Takehiro Miyano. The title of the series in Japan was Ningyo Hime Marina no Boken (The Adventures of Mermaid Princess Marina), and the series was broadcast on Japan's Fuji TV network from February to July 1991.

 It also added a new ingredient to the story: a magic potion given to the prince with which he could use to breathe underwater and be with Marina. Released in America for Saturday-morning and weekday afternoon syndication by Saban Entertainment in the summer of 1991, the series wasn't nearly as popular as Disney's version and faded quickly. This was all before Power Rangers.

Why is Kamen Rider hard to adapt into English?

It is safe to say Saban is adapting Kamen Rider into Power Rider but we still don't know which series yet because Saban registering the copyright for 'Power Rider' and Elie Dekel told a fan that they got the rights to Kamen Rider Decade and that Toei stated recently in an interview that they were working on another American adaption. It may be/is the third time Kamen Rider will be adapted in North America. For those who do not know, Kamen Rider is a series that started in 1971, TV series stopped in 1988 and had a resurgent in 2000 and has continued just like Super Sentai and has since aired right after it. Currently it has higher ratings and toy sales and it is more universally known. Also, it has had more movie spin-offs than Super Sentai. But in the U.S., Power Rangers have been going on for 18 years and Kamen Rider still hasn't been as successful in an adaption. Is there a problem with adapting the series? Is it un-adapatable? I decided to explore that.

 Saban's Masked Rider (1995)

The first attempt to adapt Kamen Rider was Saban in 1995 with the 1988 series Kamen Rider Black RX. In a pilot presentation from Fox Kids, the president stressed many times how it was not like Power Rangers and it was more like a situation comedy. Masked Rider started with a tie to Power Rangers in season 3 but allegedly, because of season 3's low ratings, they retcon their connection in the show itself. While the original RX show was about a man who was operated on with a moon rock who lived with a family (which was a minor part), the American version had an Alien teen with his furry pet living with a foster family (which was a major part).

The show was canceled after low ratings. Many fans didn't like it because of its comical nature and too much focused on the unbelievable mixed family. I think one of the major failings was the editing, while PR had mistakes, they were excusable and VR Troopers editing was much better. There was conflicting images, they would use many old Kamen Rider series unconnected to Black RX and they didn't match. On top of it, they had the hero Dex wear the same jacket as the man in the footage, Kotaro.  The creator, Shotaro Ishinomori, didn't particularly like it. Ironically, Black RX was the last made KR series at the time, so even if they were going to have a second season, they would have to go in reverse. I don't blame them in making Masked Rider an alien because the Kotaro story line was complicated enough. Maybe because VR Troopers was more serious than PR, Saban Entertainment felt they had to do something completely different with Masked Rider.

  

Kamen Rider Dragon Knight (2009)

I was going to make a post a while ago on why I thought KRDK had failed but at the time, I thought it was too soon and it had been like pulling on wounds. I did like KRDK, but here are three main factors I think made it not succeed: 1) Promotion -- it had very little promotion on TV and toys (merchandise came too late in the game) and on a channel children barely watch; 2) Arc -- The show was not stand alone which was the nature of the source material (Kamen Rider Ryuki-2002) but on a channel like Cartoon Network or Nickelodeon, they could had repeated it dozens of times so kids could catch up. Remember Avatar: The Airbender marathons on Nick? It helped the series; 3) Tone and Production -- People can complain of acting until the cows come home, but the greeness of the production value was obvious--Saban and Disney had it down pact, Adness and the Wang Brothers were still on a learning curve, the action sequences, drama and source footage had pacing troubles. Also most of the time it looked like they all lived in a ghost town unpopulated with no extras. But of course we know that comes with budget.

Also, the show was serious--which KR are and you got to give kids credit, they can handle dark and serious (the 90's X-Men or Naruto or Dragonball Z for instance). But when it isn't stand-alone eps or not even repeated frequently, it's hard. Also serious does not mean it has to be boring. There was writing, acting, and pacing issues on the show itself and zero promotion and lack of merchandising that hurt it. Look at Power Rangers Samurai, it has heavy promotion, lots of interactive material (Facebook, website, etc.) and even though not a lot of merchandise yet, the hype and reruns have helped. Even though some fans don't like the series itself, it proves that promotion helps with American Tokusatsu. Look at RPM, it had zero promotion and help and on a channel children barely saw, some kids I ask do know of RPM, mainly because of the toys and DVDs.

Too Violent? Too Complicated?
Kamen Rider is arguably more serious than Super Sentai, it is also darker. But could it also be considered more violent? Of course the Showa era (70's-80's) is more violent but currently, is the Heisei era (00's) more violent than Super Sentai? I don't think it is any difference because even if it is violent, that can be cut out in an adaptation, look at Saban's first attempt, lots of blood was cut of there. Okay so maybe violence is not an issue. Could it be adapting the source material storywise? Many of the Kamen Riders have sordid beginnings. The majority of the Showa era Riders were half or all cyborg, or half creature or had died and reborn thanks to some mythical crystal. The Heisei Era Riders either were of the same race of the villains or some connection to the villains and hid some sort of secret. Kamen Rider Faiz was an Orphnoch, the villains and many times the group the Rider was working for ends up being crooked or evil like Smart Brain, Zect, or Board. American producers might think that is too complicated for children, but the audience could be higher like ages 10-16.

 Power Rider??
Many may complain about the name Power Rider. One might think Saban is staying far from his Masked Rider in 1995 but it could just do with Toei's use of 'Masked' next to their imported Kamen Rider property and chosen to separate from it. Kamen Rider figures have been distributed throughout the world using the 'Masked Rider' label. Using Kamen Rider for Dragon Knight was risky and commendable but obviously Saban is staying away from that. Some sources state that the Wang Brothers wanted to call KRDK 'Kamen' but Toei wanted 'Masked'. With the 'Power Rider' label, it can obviously have a connection to Power Rangers (Regardless any American parent or non-Ranger fan adult would see it as a PR knock-off) and be distinguishable as Power Rangers is distinguishable from Super Sentai. With promotion like being on Nickelodeon, this one could have a chance. Some one on Rangerbaord (I forgot who) said that 'Three times a charm,' I wrote this on a poll and I am hoping it will be.

 Lavender Ranger's Tips to Adapting

So do I have tips to successfully adapt a Kamen Rider series? Seriously, I have no idea. I'm just a fan like everyone else of course. But after seeing Tokusatsu from Saban, Power Rangers and the last two Kamen Rider adaptions, I can say some ideas that might help.
1. Promotion: Look at Power Rangers Samurai, even though fans aren't that crazy about it, but it has high ratings and even though not lots of merchandise, it is making money and kids love it.
2. Prompt Toys: Have toys ready in advance. Look at Samurai, toys came out 2 months before the series started. Kamen Rider Dragon Knight had toys come out months way after it started.
3. Keep Rider names memorable and understandable. KRDK had a lot of riders and it was hard to keep track who was who because the names were vague (Strike, Torque, Sting, Spear, Axe, etc.). I say stay true to what the costume is about and if all fails, keep the same original name. For example, if Double is adapted, keep Accel the same name. As for KRDK, I think they should had stuck to the Ranger-color shirt thing. But luckily all series after Decade has 2 or 3 Riders. The main Rider now has many modes.
4. Keep it Simple: I don't mind if the adapted series is not exactly like the original or if it is a carbon copy but keep it understandable and consistent. Also understandable does not mean too simple, like speaking to three year olds. You can still tell an unique intelligent story that kids will enjoy without loosing your brain.
5. Watch that Tone: To distinguish Power Rangers from Power Rider, do what Toei did with Super Sentai and Kamen Rider, Kamen Rider is more mature and darker while Sentai is more light-hearted. Serious doesn't mean be boring.

Kamen Rider: Temporary Belt Users

Albie (Saban's Masked Rider)
Albie the young kid brother to Dex, became the Masked Rider in one episode. I didn't see the episode, I didn't know it was just a dream sequence.

Goro (Kamen Rider Ryuki)
In Kamen Rider Ryuki, Goro was Kitaoka Shuichi's devoted loyal servant, he pretended to be Zolda to trick Shinji but when Kitaoka died, Goro transformed into Zolda, being killed off by Ohja.

Kōichi Sakakibara (Kamen Rider Ryuki)
In the 13 Riders Special, Koichi was Ryuki and gave the deck to Shinji before he dies.

Shinji (Kamen Rider Knight)
In the 13 Riders Special, Shinji gets the Knight deck when Ren dies.

Kyōsuke Tokumoto (Kamen Rider 555)

After Shindo's death, he tried to put on the Kaixa belt, but couldn't out of fear because of the other users' deaths. After the Delta belt was discovered and he used it, he believed the belt was rightfully his because of the belt's side effect. Not only that, he also gained some power from the belt.

Kiyotaka Nishida (Kamen Rider 555)
Temporarily used the Kaixa belt in episode 11 and 12. With the Kaixa Gear, he destroyed Crocodile Orphnoch's first life. But he soon died in Mr. Masuda's arms from the belt's side effect.

Takahisa Shindō (Kamen Rider 555)
Used the Kaixa belt in episode 12 to fight the Crocodile Orphnoch, despite others' protest, but the Orphnoch knock the belt off him, forcing him to revert and disinterage from the belt's side effect.

Rina Abe (Kamen Rider 555)
Rina Abe is Shuji Mihara's friend, former classmate and co-worker in the orphanage. She wore the Delta armor but was kicked out of it a few seconds later.

Saya Kimura (Kamen Rider 555)
A "nekojita" much like Takumi, Saya briefly wore the Delta Gear. Eventually she found her way to the Kikuchi Dry Cleaning shop and worked part-time there. She waited to see what kind of person Takumi was before deciding to hand over the Delta Gear to him.

Yuji Kiba (Kamen Rider 555)
Yuji Kiba is Horse Orphnoch and temporarily wears the Faiz Gear (when Takumi become the Wolf Orpnoch) and The Kaixa Gear (near the end of the series).

Kamen Rider The Bee (Kamen Rider Kabuto)
Sou Yaguruma, Shun Kageyama, Arata Kagami, and Masato Mishima all became Kamen Rider the Bee.

Yuri Aso (Kamen Rider Kiva)
Yuri Aso is the founding member of the Fangire Hunters. She became Kamen Rider Ixa in the Kamen Rider Kiva movie (2008).

Megumi Aso (Kamen Rider Kiva)
Megumi Aso is a famous model and the daughter of Yuri living in the year 2008. Megumi became Kamen Rider Ixa in the Kamen Rider Kiva movie (2008). In the S.I.C Hero Saga side story King of Vampire, Kivala chooses Megumi to become Kamen Rider Kivala.

Kengo Eritate (Kamen Rider Kiva)
Kengo Eritate is an independent rock guitarist and vocalist from Tokyo who lied about coming from Osaka out of shyness. When Nago is injured in action, Kengo eagerly takes his place as the Ixa System's user.

Maya (Kamen Rider Dragon Knight)
With Kase vented, Eubulon made her into Kamen Rider Siren. She later gave her Advent deck back to Kase when Kase returned. Eubulon gave her magical martial arts fighting knowledge, that we are to assume went away once she gave up the deck.

Akiko Narumi (Kamen Rider W)
Akiko Narumi is Shotaro's boss and landlord at the Narumi Detective Agency. Episode 30 she becomes W, well the Joker part. I didn't see the episode, I didn't know it was just a dream sequence.
