Kamen Rider: This Storyline Looks Familar

Like I did with Super Sentai and Power Rangers, there are some storylines that repeat that become tropes sort of. Kamen Rider has some recurring themes and topics.
Grey-Area Organizations
These are organizations that are not exactly the villains, or don't start out that way. Some facilitate the gear and henshin devices of the Kamen Riders and some offer explanations or are rooted in the villains. Smart Brain, Board, ZECT, Foundation X, Kougami Foundation and a couple others. Foundation X and Kougami Foundation are connected and carry through from Double to Fourze. I might be missing some.
Multiple Users
There are different people that are one Rider, either one gets killed off and they don it or there are multiple versions of one henshin unit (like the RiotTroopers) or someone is given the henshin unit for one time. Kamen Rider 555 has more than five users (Kiyotaka Nishida, Yuji Kiba, Saya Kimura, Kyōsuke Tokumoto, Takahisa Shindō, Rina Abe), about four were in Kamen Rider TheBee (Sou Yaguruma, Shun Kageyama, Arata Kagami, and Masato Mishima), and Three Ixas (Yuri Aso, Megumi Aso, Kengo Eritate and the main guy).
Hero is one of the Bad Guys
Not exactly one of the bad guys but they end up being half of what the villains are. Takumi Inui /Kamen Rider 555 turns out to be an Orphnoch, Wateru/Kamen Rider Kiva in Decade was half-Fangire, and I think there were other Kamen Riders that were like that.
Hero should have been dead
This is the majority of the Showa era were the original Kamen Riders were at the brink of death or killed and made superpowered by some weird space rock.
Happy Rider, Brooding Rider
Here are some I remember: Kamen Rider Ryuki (Happy) and Knight (Brooding); Kamen Rider Fourze (Happy) and Cosmos (Brooding); Kamen Rider Decade (Brooding) and Kamen Rider Agito (Happy) and I think there are a few more. I think that Agito and Kaixa and also Blade and Garren, not sure.

But one common storyline is the girl concerned about her brother like Yui Kanzaki in Ryuki who was concerned about her brother Shiro, who was responsible for the powers and Hina concerned about her brother who is possessed by Ankh. Power Rangers: This Storyline looks familar
I did this post on Super Sentai, about storylines that may be familiar or similar. Some Sentai storylines carry to Power Rangers because of the footage. I like to write and I storied Television Production and I listen to audio commentary to DVDs about writers and directors. I know there is a lot of turnover with writers and crew and sometimes storylines get repeated. The writing process is not easy. They are rushed to write scripts and there are tight schedules.
It all started with Tommy the Green Ranger who was under the spell of Rita. This trend continued with Trent/White Ranger who was under the influence of the White Dino Gem. Merrick wasn't technically a bad Ranger, neither was Eric. Also there was the Thunder Rangers in Ninja Storm, who were the Wind Rangers' rivals and teamed up with the Lothor. They all eventually turned to the good side.
Bad Guys turned Good
There is too long a list to cover but some notable changers are Diabolico of PRLR, Jindrax and Toxica of PRWF, Marah and Kapri of Ninja Storm, Necrolai and Leelee of Mystic Force, Jarrod and Camile of Jungle Fury and more.
I'm a Hero, but I don't want to be part of the team
That would be Eric/Quantum Ranger, Robo Knight, and Magna Defender. Eric wanted to do it on his own, he wasn't the Time Forcer's enemy but he just wanted to do it on his own. Robo Knight didn't want to be involved with the Rangers. The original Magna Defender didn't want the Rangers to get in his way.
A hero from another time
There was Merrick/LunarWolf Ranger and Daggeron/Solaris Knight that were from another time. Also, Sam from SPD came from the future.
There were a few Sixth heroes that the main team wondered who they were like White Ranger (momentarily) in MMPR, Gold Ranger in Zeo, and for a little bit Rangers Gold and Silver in RPM. Oh and also Titanium Ranger in PRLR.
There are plenty of villains who were mysterious and we didn't see their final form until the end or mid-way. This includes Omni from SPD and the Master of Mystic Force.
There is Alpha of MMPR/Zeo/Turbo/InSpace/Lost Gaaxy, Circuit of Time Force, Tensou of Megaforce, and others.
I'm your Mentor but I'm a Ranger
Doggy/Shadow Ranger, Tommy/Black Ranger, Udonna/White Ranger and RJ/Violet Ranger.
Alien Rangers
Obviously there are the Aquitar Rangers but also Trey/Gold Ranger, Andros and Zhane in Space, Maya and Karone in Lost Galaxy, Magna Defender, Doggy/Shadow Ranger, Kat/Kat Ranger, Tyzonn/Mercury Ranger and probably the next Silver Ranger in Super Megaforce.
I'm sure there are more tropes but I can't think of them right now.

Especially since Super Sentai runs pretty much all year, year after year. I decide to compile some storylines that were sort of similar.
Gaoranger and Kyoryuger has this similar storyline. Shirogane/GaoSilver was a warrior who put on a cursed mask and became Loki. Loki was sealed away and later released. Eventually the spell broke off and Shirogane and Loki split. Utsusemimaru/KyoryuGold in Kyoryuger was sealed inside of Dogold, he is not exactly Dogold, like Loki and Shirogane.
It all started with Burai, the Dragon Ranger who wanted vegenace against his brother Geki and teamed up with Bandora. This trend continued with Mikoto, AbareKiller who was with the Evorian up until the end of Abaranger. Shirogane wasn't technically a bad Ranger, neither was Naoto/TimeFire. Also there was the Gouraijers in Hurricanger, who were the Hurricanger's rivals and teamed up with the Jakanja. They all eventually turned to the good side.

There is too long a list to cover but some notable changers are Rio & Mele in Gekiranger, Vencuria from Abaranger, Lije & Jannu from Abaranger, the Bowzock from Carranger, and the Gaiarc of Go-Onger. Some villains took a new and more powerful villain to change their ways so they had to team up with the good guys or the bad guys that were originally good and put under a spell.

That would be Naoto/Time Fire, Gosei Knight, BullBlack, Go-On Wings, and various others. Naoto wanted to do it on his own, he wasn't the Timeranger's enemy but he just wanted to do it on his own. Gosei Knight didn't want to be involved with the Goseiger. BullBlack didn't want the Gingaman to get in his way. DekaBreak was a little bit in that way, that he was cold. Also the Go-on Wings didn't want to do anything with the Go-Ongers.
